2010 Husqvarna GTH26V48LS Lawn Tractor With 48" Cut

The Husqvarna 48" lawn tractor - GTH26V48LS is a large garden riding lawn mower that is built fairly stout. The mower deck is a fabricated unit instead of a stamped deck that is standard on lower cost mowers. It is equipped with a Briggs and Stratton 26 hp Endurance engine that appears to be built and designed for durability.
The engine uses an automotive style oil filter that has a detachable hose that allows the oil to be drained straight into a container preventing oil from dripping anywhere it shouldn’t.
The fuel tank is accessible without lifting the seat and there is a sight level just below the seat. This model has a 48" deck that can have either side discharge, bagging or mulching. This model is ground engaging ready and a sleeve hitch is available for it.
The mower is hydrostatically driven and has a heavy duty transmission that has a surprisingly fast top speed. The mower works best in open spaces as the mower isn’t a tight turning model. The mower having the hydrostatic transmission and the ability to override the reverse shut off does allow for quick maneuvering out of tight situations while mowing.
This machine produces a very level and clean cut. The mower deck has a quick connect washer port so that a hose can be attached to clean the underside of the mower deck. I have a sleeve hitch and a Brinly box blade. The tractor can push quite a bit of dirt around with ease. This arrangement also works really well for pushing snow. The only thing bad that I have to say about this mower is that it came with a rattle in the brake pedal from the factory. This is a common complaint for this mower and is fixable.
I bought my Husqvarna lawn tractor in the summer of 2010 and I am still using it. I bought it from a Husqvarna dealer since this model is only available from dealer. This riding lawn mower is definitely best for large gardens especially if you have the need to disturb the ground with available sleeve hitch implements.
