Bobcat Zero Turn Mowers Are Commercial, Reliable And Include
The Predator, ProCat And FastCat
BOBCAT zero turn mowers come from one of the most reputable names in
the industry, but they are in a class of their own.
These zero turn riding mowers
allow you to turn 180 degrees within the mower's own footprints, which
means you won't have to back up to maneuver around flowerbeds,
walkways, and other landscape features that get in the way.
The turning
ability is what really sets a zero turn mower apart from all others
sold by BOBCAT and other brands. Yet, there are many other features
that make these mowers worth the investment for homeowners as well as
landscaping professionals.
Let's take a look at the five different Bobcat zero turn mowers on the market
today. Which one do you think fits your needs best?
FastCat RZ
This is one of the more basic zero turn models from Bobcat. It will go
up to 8 mph
and has a comfortable spring seat suitable for homeowners mowing their
own property.
It comes in three basic deck sizes: 42", 52" and 61". The
power goes between 22 and 26 HP, which makes it second to last in the
collection in terms of power.
This would be a good option for a homeowner, though this is a
commercial zero turn mower. It comes with a 3 year warranty for
residential
consumers and a 90 day warranty for commercial consumers.
FastCat Pro
This model packs less power than the FastCat RZ (18 to 25 HP), but it
has a flex-suspension seat for greater comfort and more options for
deck size.
The basic deck size range is the same as the Fastcat RZ, but
you have three additional size options between the 42" and 61".
Regardless of deck size, this mower will go up to 8 mph. Watch it in
action in the video below.
ProCat
You start to pick up some speed with this model of the zero turn
series. It will go up to 11.5 mph, which is the mid-range for all of
the Bobcat zero turn mowers. It also packs more power with engines going up to
29 HP.
Another feature is the no-flat tires which will have a longer
lifespan and deliver a lot less aggravation compared with the other
two models.
This is also one of the top three models with the best designed seat.
It is designed to absorb shock and limit shaking and bouncing for a
more comfortable mowing experience. The remaining two models covered
here have the same seat as well. Deck size options include: 52", 61",
and 72".

Predator-Pro LP
Ramp the motor up to 30 HP and you have the Predator-Pro LP. This model
comes with a generic industrial OHVI motor and has the same no-flat
tires and well cushioned seat found on the ProCat. This is one of two
models that hit the maximum zero turn speed of 13.5 mph.
This mower would be best used for large residential lawns or by a
commercial mowing service. You have enough power and speed along with
larger sized deck options to get your work done fast. Deck size options include: 61" and 72".
Predator-Pro
This is the top-of-the-line zero turn mower model. It has the same
speed limit as the Predator-Pro LP and the same deck size options, but
it packs a lot more power going up to 37 HP. This will be the fastest
option for commercial services without losing the comfortable seat and
of course the zero turn technology which gives a more professional
appearance to every lawn.
