Bolens 13W1762F065 Riding Mower

My family uses a Bolens 13W1762F065 riding lawn mower to mow three acres. It was purchased at a Lowe's store for around $900. This lawn mower meets all of our needs. It does take a while to mow the lawn, but that is expected with so much to mow!

The mower itself rides smoothly. The deck is pretty wide and mows a 38 inch strip. It mows consistently and doesn't create weird patterns or noticeable spots. The seat is comfortable, but if using the mower for longer than an hour at a time, I sit on a pillow or take breaks.

The Bolens rider also mows at a pretty decent speed. My yard is very long, so I am able to put it in the highest, fastest gear and get a decent speed going back and forth in straight lines. The suspension seems pretty sturdy, and it doesn't bounce too much, unless of course the terrain is very bumpy.

We haven't had this mower very long, maybe three or four months. It's been used several times already this season with no major issues. I don't think this mower would be good for small yards simply because it would be too large to maneuver. A larger, wider mowing deck would be helpful in getting the job done faster, but I got what I expected in purchasing a smaller riding mower and not a larger tractor.

The mower itself looks nice. The paint was nice and shiny, wheels and mechanisms are sturdy and the entire thing seems built well. In fact, this is the second Bolens tractor I have owned over the years. The store provided a warranty, so if I have a problem, I know who to call. Other than routine maintenance, I don't expect any problems. If I treat my Bolens right, it'll treat me right.
