Bolens push lawn mowers, made by MTD, are lightweight and easy to use with a classic green colored mower design. They are pretty basic mowers with a 21" cutting width, but they get the job done. The 11A-A44R265 and 11A-A14S265 are also CARB (California Air Resources Board) compliant if you are using your Bolens lawn mower in California.

These single speed push mowers (not Self Propelled) use a powerful and easily maintained 158cc Briggs and Stratton engine that gives you reliability with efficient working. To get your mower started just use the simple pull start rope.

Height adjusters make your mowing easily controllable in easy or tough areas. Some models have handles that are fully foldable for easy storage and can be positioned in different ranges depending on the user.

There is a bag clipping option on the more expensive models for a neat looking yard. These bags are also great for picking up leaves in the fall. The mulching option on models 11A-A14A065 and 11A-A14S265 helps put nutrients back into the soil for stronger and healthier looking turf.

The two basic models: 11A-A44E065 and 11A-A44R265 allow you to recycle your grass clippings back onto the lawn using a side discharge chute.

A double bladed 38" cut delivers a great time saving factor over a push mower and can be positioned to high or low cuts with a 5-length adjustable handle. The 6-speed Shift-On-The-Go transmission system allows this Bolens riding mower to travel easily over hills and dips without bogging down when power is needed or needing a push a clutch to change gears or speeds. A simple control panel lets you make the determination of speed and height of cut.

Although the #13W1762F065 is the only riding unit made by MTD for Bolens, it possesses functionality that delivers quality in a light duty residential scene. With a comfortable low back adjustable seat, cup holder, headlights and two year limited warranty, the entire family will enjoy mowing when this Bolens lawn mower is in your garage.

The mulching kit and bagging kit are nice for collecting grass without raking. Although the mower is bagger and mulching capable, these kits are sold separately. This unit may not have the frills of other riding lawn mowers, such as cruise control, hour meter, ammeter, safety listings from UL, CSAor ETL, but for the delivery that it provides, is a good machine for the price (Less than $1000).

Although simple in design and made for smaller yards, this is one solid riding mower.
