I have a craftsman Model 37067 that was given to me by a friend who was moving out of state. I have owned the highest rated Snapper push mower and compare this Craftsman very favorably. Although, I would prefer a little more speed, the mower does a fantastic job and has always started on the first pull.
This is an amazing statistic and is greatly appreciated as I despise struggling with yanking on the cord for half a dozen times to get the engine to even cough. Remarkably this mower has started on first pull despite all the neglect I have heaped on it over the years, including postponing oil and air filter changes for season after season.
I use this mower for 45 of the 52 weeks of the year the weather allows me to cut the grass. It has superior suction and works fantastic on fallen leaves, and other debris that drops in the spring and fall.
The only criticism I have of this mower is that the bag fills up very quickly (a credit to the suction actually), it does not mulch (a feature I had on the Snapper, but didn't see much benefit), and the plastic on the front wheels where the wheel spins on the axle has begun to wear badly and the front wheel has a very bad wobble, leading to a slightly uneven pattern (one side of the stripe slightly higher).
I have given my Craftsman its much needed oil, filter and spark plug change over this past winter, and may even invest in a replacement wheel, considering it has served me so well these past years.
