I have a Task Force 12-AMP 18" Electric Lawnmower Model # 25143. Because this is an electric lawn mower it must be plugged in to an electircal outlet while mowing the lawn. I liked the idea of an electric lawn mower because I did not want to have to store gasoline in the small back yard of my townhome.
While this lawn mower does get the job done for my fenced-in back yard and tiny front yard, it is very annoying to deal with the extension cord all of the time. The lawn mower itself does not come with a long enough cord that can be plugged in, so a rugged extension cord must be purchased to use with it.
One of the benefits of the Task Force mower is that it is very lightweight, so it does not put a lot of pressure on my back to push it uphill. I also liked that it has a bag to collect grass clippings, but it still operates if the bag is removed, should I want to leave the clippings on the yard.
I purchased this lawn mower at a Lowe’s store (offline not online) last year for about $170 and I am happy with it, but I think if I ever purchased another electric lawn mower, I would splurge and buy a cordless one for the convenience. I would also only recommend this to someone who has a very small yard, this mower will drive you nuts if you have a full-sized yard.
