John Deere Riding Lawn Mower - Garden Tractor

We use a John Deere Lawn Tractor. We live in Merritt Island Florida and were in need of a good lawn mower of high quality as with the high moisture content in our climate our grass grows really fast and gets thick and tall and we have a lot of land to cover.

We purchased our John Deer Riding Lawn Mower more then three years ago from a man we got in contact with through our classified newspaper want adds. After one ride it was decided, it was the lawn mower for us. We actually named it Dear John as part of our family because it was like having a son who will mow the lawn and not complain.

As far as how well it works, we couldn't ask for a better lawn mower. It never breaks down and only stops when we want it to or if it runs out of gas. It also has great gas mileage. We can mow our entire lawn with less then one tank of gas. It works best on a straight path up and down the lawn but it does turn very well too.

It will go very close around the trees as long as no branches or rocks are in the way. It has a feature on it that turns the mower off if it tips over. This makes it so much safer to use. The only trouble we have had with it is, mowing the deep ditch in our back yard. It can not go at too steep of an angle. Although it is able to almost completely mow our drainage ditch on the front part of our lawn that is not as deep as the back one.

We are so happy with our John Deer riding mower. It is very reliable and wouldn't give it up ever even for a new one of a different brand.
