Kubota Lawn Mowers

Kubota Lawn Mowers (U.K.) was founded in 1979 as a subsidiary of the Kubota Corporation, which began in 1890 to manufacture cast-iron water pipes in Osaka, Japan. The corporation began giving attention to powered equipment in the early 1900s.

Some of Kubota's biggest innovations introduced since the 1970s in the United Kingdom and Ireland include:

They had the first true compact four-wheel drive tractor. Also the first hydrostatic transmissions systems for diesel ride-on mowers and compact tractors. They produced the first four-wheel drive front rotary ride-on mower and also installed the first power steering system installed as standard for ride-on mowers and 19hp - 45hp tractors.

They invented the Bi Speed Turn, a system that automatically increases the speed of a tractor's front wheels during turns, resulting in faster, tighter turns that reduce tire and surface scuffing.
