I've been using the Lawn Boy 10685 lawn mower for about a year or so now. My husband's parents bought it for us at the beginning of last summer, so we've used it last summer and the start of this one as well. I believe that they got it from Lowe's, but they've also been known to buy stuff like this off of internet sites like Amazon.com.
To be honest we didn't ask where they got it as it was a gift, but I think they probably bought it at the local Lowe's instead of having it shipped from anywhere.
I'm from Dubois, Pennsylvania, so the weather here is kind of crazy. Once the grass starts growing though... whew, does it ever grow! We have a small lawn at the front of our house and a little bit in the back as well. The lawn sort of slopes down on one side and part of the back, so I was a little worried about mowing that at first.
Our lawn mower is self propelled though, so it's not hard getting up the little hill. It has some nice features that I liked. The starter handle is large enough that you can really get a good hold on it and it's covered in some kind of rubber. I always had trouble starting my dad's old mower, but I can start this one just fine.
It's quieter than a lot of mowers I've used. It seems like a really sturdy mower too, so I'm never worried about being too rough with it. It does get a little heavy though if you ever has to move it without it propelling itself. I also really like the Sens-a-Speed thing, as does my husband. It makes it a lot easier for both of us to handle. It's quite easy to push, and the small hills in our yard really don't seem like anything at all. I'm not sure how it would do on a larger yard with bigger hills, but on ours it works great.
