Snapper Lawn Tractors Cut Your Mowing Time And Offer
Increased Longevity
Snapper Lawn Tractors may have made their debut in 1967 but the
Snappin' Turtle started it all in January 1951.
The company, called
Southern Saw, was proud as their first line of 16 rotary mowers rolled
off of the assembly line in East Point, Georgia.
By the end of 1951,
there were 3,975 "Snappin Turtles"
cutting lawns all across
America.
Both the Smithsonian Institute in Washington, D.C. and the
Atlanta History Museum in Georgia display early models that made
Snapper what it is today.
Snapper LT125 Series Lawn And Garden Tractors
The Snapper LT2342 and LT2446 are part of the LT125 series of lawn
tractors. They include features such as:
Easy Car Like Controls
Tight 14" Turning Radius
Easy Start Briggs & Stratton Extended Life Series
Engine
Deep Profile Mower Deck
Pivoting Front Axle For Uneven Terrain
Forward Speed Of 5.6MPH
The first feature that you will notice when you climb aboard the LT125
Snapper Series Lawn Tractor and start the engine is the amount of
horsepower under the hood. Available in 23 or 24 hp Extended Life
Series, the twin-cylinder OHV engine means business. Complete with
Hydro Gear T2 transmission.
The mower deck
doesn't just cut grass but provides a powerful airflow vacuum to lift
up the grass ends
to trim like a professional barber. Your grass will appear more even
and have a chance to grow at the same rate of speed without an uneven
look.
That takes some ultimate power with a 42" or 46" shear. The
pivoting front axle lets you glide over hills and bumps without losing
control. You can do all this while traveling at up to 5.6MPH forward
speed or 3.5MPH reverse speed.
The Snapper LT130 AWS series has only one model at the moment which is
the LT2346 All Wheel Steering Lawn Tractor.
It glides effortlessly
across complex landscapes leaving you less to trim at the edges. It
comes loaded with the following features:
Powerful Briggs & Stratton 23Hp engine
Quick Response Rear Steering
Convenient Easy To Use Controls
Easily Adjusted 7 Position Cutting Height
Hydro Automatic Transmission
46", 3-Blade Mowing Deck
For those that have lots of landscaping displays and want to keep your
yard perfect without spending hours trimming, the LT130 AWS Series
Snapper Lawn Tractor delivers low turf damage while reducing cutting
time.
Rear
wheel steering gives you increased control around tight areas and less
edge trimming to do without
backing up
and trying to stay aligned.
A 7 position height-of-cut-lever lets you decide the
perfect height to cut with the 46" mower deck and 16" cutting radius
that gives an even
appearance.
Suited with the Briggs & Stratton Extended Life
Series 23Hp V-Twin Over Head Valve engine, you will never feel
overloaded in
your workload.
Snapper LT200 Series Lawn Tractors For More Power
The Snapper LT200 Series has four easy to operate models to choose from
depending
on your power needs. They include the LT18538, LT2042, LT2044 and
LT2250. They come equipped with the following common sense features:
14" Turning Radius
Confortable Car Like Driving Position
Pivoting Cast-Iron Front Axle
K46 Hydro Transmission
Starting with the LT18538 model that has a 38", 2 blade
cutting deck with a 18.5Hp engine. You will find the standard Snapper
7-position 1.5 to 4.0 inch cutting
height available encased in a 12-gauge steel frame.
Model LT2042 is a step up with a 20Hp, 2-cylinder engine and 42-inch, 2
blade, cutting width. The seat is
a bit more accommodating with this model, 15" instead of 11.5" that is
standard on the LT18538 model.
The next model up is the LT2044 and has
three blades instead of two and a 44-inch cutting width. It has K-46 HD
Hydro transmission and like all the models moves forward at 5.5MPH. The
rear turf
tires jump up to 10" from the standard 8" for heavy-duty lawn work.
Model LT2250 is top of the line for the homeowner that has the most
extreme property. A 50-inch cutting width with 3 blades will provide
amazing results in very little time. It has the most powerful Briggs
& Stratton two cyclinder engine at 22Hp. It also has the K-46
HD Hydro transmission.
