Snapper NXT22875EE Self Propelled 22" Mower
I own a Snapper NXT22875EE (22") Lawn Mower. I live in Portland, Oregon, where the constant rain also causes constant growth. The grass is no exception. I needed a mower that could handle frequent use and some uneven terrain, since our yard is hilly in places. I went to a local hardware store and made a purchase after comparing the features on a few models that were in the store.
I generally have a good impression of Snapper products, and this lawnmower is no exception. For a mower that can meet a wide range of home lawn and garden needs, the Snapper NXT22875E in an excellent choice. Retailing for slightly less than $500, approximately, this mower can get the job done. It will even lend muscle to the jobs it does because it is self-propelled.
It is also easy to manage because it is self-starting. These features alone make the Snapper NXT22875E well-suited for medium-sized and large yard. More than that, the Snapper 22" mower includes a mulching function. It seems to do a consistently good job of both mowing the grass evenly and distributing the clippings without making the lawn look untidy.
The machine comes with a bag as well, should collection of green compost material better suit your gardening style. As far as cutting, the machine comes with various options. The ability to set cut height is extremely handy (ranges from 1.25 to 4 inches).
The machine has a standard 22-inch deck and cutting width. It is well-built with many intuitive features and should certainly be among machines considered for any mower purchase in this price range. I am short and found that the handle can adjust to allow me to mow comfortably. (The handle seems to be adjustable within about a 6 inch range.) My experience with the Snapper NXT22875E has made mowing the lawn an experience that I don’t dread, especially because I feel that I have the right tool for the job.
