I currently use a Toro Timecutter SS4200 that has a 42" inch deck. I am from Bowling Green, Ohio. I have a relatively big yard and also use my Toro riding mower to make some extra money on the weekends mowing other people's yards as well. I have owned this mower for about 3 months now and I absolutely love it.
It rides very smooth and it puts down some very nice stripe lines as well. I have had a striping kit attatched to it to help with making my yard along with others very nice and professional.
My Toro lawn mower is not very good for a rather small job, since it has a 42" inch deck it is more made towards the larger yards, such as 2+ acres. I have been using my mower weekly ever since I purchased it 3 months ago. I purchased my toro mower offline from a local store around the area.
This Toro Timecutter is most definitely best for large gardens and does a great job making lawns look very nice and presentable. The only problem that I have had with the mower is the roller kit I attatched to it. There had been one other occasion when I had the belt tear after running it for a long time period. These were both very simple fixes and nothing that set me back at any rate.
I strongly suggest a Toro SS4200 riding mower to anyone who is considering purchasing a new mower because I have had nothing but success with this machine and it makes my yard and the other yards I do look very nice! The only problem I have with the mower itself is the fact that it does not have a deck raiser located near where the feet sit while mowing, which would make it easier to avoid scalping some grass and to make yards look better.
